Mirror Aura — Terms of Service
Plain-language summary (non-binding) — use Mirror Aura kindly, don't try to break it, and don't use it as a substitute for medical, legal, or financial professionals. Some features are paid. You can delete your account at any time and we will remove your data. Aura's words are reflections, not predictions.
1. Who we are
Mirror Aura ("we", "us", "our", or "Mirror Aura") is operated by Better Me SRL, a Romanian limited liability company.

2. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, signing in, or using Mirror Aura through the iOS app, Android app, web version, or any other surface we provide (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material we will give notice in-app and by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Mirror Aura. By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from people under 16. If we learn that we have collected data from someone under 16, we will delete it.
You must also have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
4. What the Service is
Mirror Aura is a mystical-wellness companion app that combines numerology, astrology, journaling, ritual practice, and conversational reflection with an AI persona named "Aura". The Service includes, depending on your subscription tier:
- Aura — a conversational companion (AI-generated, see §8) that reflects on your day, your numbers, and what you bring to her.
- Journeys — guided multi-day practices generated for your chosen goal and magic style, in 7-, 14-, and 31-day formats (14-day and 31-day require a paid subscription).
- Journal — personal entries you write yourself.
- Circle — your record of people whose energy you want to track relationships with (you provide their names and birth dates).
- Grimoire — earned cards representing your completed journeys.
- Cosmos — your natal chart, numerology, and Circle synastry.
Features may evolve, be added, or be removed. We will not remove a feature you paid for during a paid billing period without offering proration or a refund.
5. Account & security
You sign in with a one-time link emailed to your address. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address secure. Anyone who controls the email can access the account.
You agree to provide accurate information at sign-up, to update it if it changes (your details are editable in Profile), and to use the Service only on your own behalf. You may not impersonate anyone else.
If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us at contact@mirroraura.app immediately.
6. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to use Mirror Aura to:
- Send harassing, abusive, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise unlawful content to Aura or any other party;
- Attempt to extract, replicate, or rebuild our underlying AI instructions, model behaviour, or training data;
- Scrape, copy, or systematically harvest any content displayed by the Service;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service except where the law expressly permits;
- Use the Service to develop a competing AI or AI-trained product;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the security or integrity of the Service or its infrastructure;
- Submit personal data about another identifiable person to your Circle without a reasonable basis for doing so (see §13);
- Use automation, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service without our prior written consent;
- Use the Service for commercial purposes other than as expressly permitted by these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules (see §12).
7. Subscriptions, payments & refunds
Mirror Aura offers three tiers:

Current prices for paid tiers are shown in the app before you purchase, in your local currency where available.
How billing works. Paid subscriptions may be purchased:
- In the mobile apps — through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Payment is taken by Apple or Google under their respective terms; we never see or store your payment-card details. Cancellation and refund handling for these purchases are governed by Apple's or Google's policies — you cancel through your device's subscription settings, not from within Mirror Aura.
- On the website — through a third-party online payment provider that acts as our merchant of record (the seller of record for that transaction). They process the payment, handle applicable taxes, and manage refunds for web purchases under their terms; we never see or store your full payment-card details.
Auto-renewal. Paid subscriptions auto-renew for successive billing periods until you cancel them — through your App Store or Google Play account for app purchases, or as described at checkout for web purchases. Cancelling stops the next renewal but does not retroactively refund the current period; you keep paid features until the period ends.
Right of withdrawal (EU consumers). If you are an EU consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the moment a paid subscription is purchased, UNLESS the digital service has already begun to be performed with your express prior consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose that right (which we request at purchase, in line with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive). By purchasing a subscription and using paid features within the cool-off period, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that waiver. Where a purchase is made through an app store or a merchant of record, their refund process applies to your withdrawal request.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices; existing subscribers receive at least 30 days' email notice and may cancel before the new price applies.
8. AI-generated content & no professional advice
Aura's replies, journey content, daily readings, and other dynamic text are generated by an AI system. The output reflects probabilistic generation, not measured or guaranteed insight.
Mirror Aura is not a substitute for professional advice. Specifically, the Service does not provide and must not be relied upon for:
- Medical or psychiatric advice, diagnosis, or treatment;
- Legal advice;
- Financial, tax, or investment advice;
- Predictions of future events with certainty (we frame everything in possibilities, archetypes, and energies, never as guarantees).
If you are in crisis — experiencing suicidal thoughts, active self-harm, abuse, or a medical emergency — contact emergency services (112 in Romania and the EU) or a qualified professional in your country. Aura is designed to redirect such conversations to professional support, but the redirect is not infallible, and you remain responsible for seeking the right kind of help.
Spiritual / esoteric framing. Astrology, numerology, ritual practice, and similar content are presented as reflective and meaning-making frameworks, not empirical statements about reality. You agree that you understand this.
9. Your content & our content
Your content. Journal entries, messages you send to Aura, names and notes about Circle members, custom journey titles, and similar content you create ("Your Content") remain yours. You grant Mirror Aura a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, transmit, display, and copy Your Content solely as needed to operate the Service for you — including to generate AI responses, to produce Aura's memory and persona summaries, and to deliver those features to you in the app. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
You are responsible for Your Content. Do not submit content that infringes someone else's rights or violates the law.
Our content. The Mirror Aura name, brand, app, design system, AI instructions, journey templates, and supporting copy are owned by us (or licensed to us) and protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial purposes. Nothing here transfers ownership.
10. Third-party services
Mirror Aura relies on third-party service providers to operate (such as hosting, AI processing, email delivery, and payment processing). The categories of these providers are described in the Privacy Policy, and a current named list is available on request. When you use Mirror Aura you may also engage with these providers, each of which has its own terms. We choose providers we believe to be reputable, but we do not control them and are not responsible for their independent conduct.
11. Termination by you (account deletion)
You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Privacy → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. We do not offer a grace period.
What happens to your data is described in the Privacy Policy (§6): your name, email, birth chart, journal, Circle, Aura conversations, and Aura's memory of you are permanently removed. Limited, non-identifying records about subscription history and product use are retained as anonymous data for accounting and audit purposes, as permitted by the GDPR.
You may also export your data at any time via Profile → Privacy → Export my data.
If you have an active paid subscription, deleting your Mirror Aura account does NOT automatically cancel that subscription. Cancel it first — through your device's subscription settings for app purchases, or as described at checkout for web purchases — BEFORE deleting your account, or you may continue to be billed.
12. Termination by us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms — in particular §6 (Acceptable use) — or if we reasonably believe your account has been compromised, used to harm others, or used in a way that exposes Mirror Aura to legal risk.
We will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy where the law requires us to. In cases of serious harm or ongoing abuse we may suspend immediately.
If we terminate your account for breach, you forfeit the unused portion of any paid subscription period. If we terminate for our own convenience (e.g., shutting down the Service), we will prorate and refund any unused paid period.
13. Third-party data in your Circle
When you add a Circle member, you provide that person's name and birth date — personal data about a third party. By doing so you confirm that you have a reasonable basis to record this information (e.g., the person is a partner, family member, or friend whose energy you are choosing to track) and that doing so will not violate that person's rights or expectations.
We do not contact, identify, or otherwise process Circle-member data beyond using it to generate compatibility numbers visible only to you. When you delete a Circle member or your account, that data is permanently removed.
If a Circle member contacts us asking to be removed from your records, we will reach out to you to handle the request.
14. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against all attacks, accurate in every AI response, or suited for any particular purpose of yours.
The wellness, spiritual, and AI-reflective nature of the Service means that outputs are inherently subjective and interpretive — no statement Aura makes should be treated as fact.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Mirror Aura (Better Me SRL, or its contractors or third-party service providers) be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages;
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill;
- Decisions you make or actions you take based on Aura's output;
- Service interruptions, downtime, or data loss caused by third-party infrastructure beyond our reasonable control.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service, regardless of cause, shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 50.
Mandatory consumer-protection law overrides. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under EU or Romanian consumer-protection law. EU consumers retain all statutory rights regardless of anything stated here.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Better Me SRL from any third-party claim arising out of (a) Your Content, (b) your breach of these Terms, or (c) your unlawful use of the Service.
17. Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Romania have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service.
EU consumers retain the right to bring proceedings in their country of habitual residence and to invoke the mandatory consumer-protection rules of that country, regardless of the above.
Online Dispute Resolution. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
18. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and Better Me SRL regarding the Service.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- No waiver. Failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign these Terms to a successor entity (for example, in a reorganisation or sale of the business), with notice to you.
- No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms create rights only between you and us.
